COST-EPICATCH 2020-2024 (EPIgenetic mechanisms of Crop Adaptation To Climate cHange)

Specific objectives of the EPICATCH action are the following: updating the most-recent findings in crop epigenomics, establish common pipelines for analysis and interpretation of epigenetic data, reinforce networks in crop epigenomic research across Europe, and promote future investment of new bioinformatic infrastructure for easy access, exchange, analysis, interpretation of epigenomic data in crops and eventually other living organisms. The Hungarian participation includes the analysis of epigenetic data-sets from our on-going research, methodological integration; Data sets include RNAseq and Methylated DNA data-sets from plant samples previously exposed to different stress conditions The Hungarian members of the management committee are the researchers of the Plant Genomics and Plant Biotechnology research teams: Dr. Judit Dobránszki and Norbert Hidvégi Norbert.
