Who can apply: Current Hungarian and international students of the Faculty
What to submit: Photos taken by you that capture student life and do not include identifiable faces
Deadline: May 6, 2026
Conditions
- You may only submit your own original work
- By submitting, you accept the Terms and Conditions Regarding Rights of Use and Liability
- Maximum 5 photos per applicant
- Portraits are not allowed
- Minimum file size: 5 MB
- Resolution: 300 DPI (selected images will be printed at 40×50 cm)
- AI-generated or AI-altered images are not accepted
- No digital frames, captions, or visible dates
- No image manipulation that changes content (no combining images, adding/removing elements)
- Group submissions are not allowed
How to apply: Send your photos by email in high-quality, print-ready resolution to: fogarasi.eszter@agr.unideb.hu
Include the following:
- Name
- Programme / major
- Year of study
- Title of each photo (max. one sentence)
- Location where the photo was taken
Evaluation
- Entries will be reviewed by a professional jury
- Selected photos will be exhibited
- A Public Choice Award will be given to the photo with the most votes
Voting will take place on the official faculty Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DEMEK.fb).
Exhibition
Selected photos will be displayed in the glass corridor of Building B at the Faculty from May 15, 2026
Rights of use for submitted photos
- A condition of submission is that the applicant has taken the photo themselves and holds full rights to its use. By submitting an application, the applicant assumes sole responsibility.
- The applicant declares and warrants that the submitted photo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party, and that no third party holds any rights that would prevent or in any way restrict the organizer’s acquisition of usage rights to the submitted work.
- The applicant agrees that the organizer of the competition may use the submitted photo free of charge, without territorial limitation, and for an indefinite period, in particular:
- The applicant agrees that the organizer may display the photo publicly, use it for marketing and promotional purposes, and publish it on its website and other platforms, while indicating the applicant's name, faculty, programme, year of study, as well as the country, city, and institution related to the photo, and the title of the photo.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the title of the photo in consultation with the applicant.
- The applicant is responsible for obtaining the consent of any identifiable persons appearing in the photo for the creation and use of their image, in accordance with Section 2:48 (1) of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code.
- The applicant acknowledges that they bear full responsibility for any infringement of personal or copyright-related rights arising from the creation, submission, or public display (exhibition) of the photo, including any financial or non-financial claims resulting from such violations.
- By submitting the photo, the applicant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions of the competition.
