International Livestock Congress student fellowship
Each year the Internal Stockmen’s Educational Foundation awards fellowship for the International livestock congress to senior-level undergraduate and graduate students. Scholastic achievement, leadership experience, and a professional reference are all part of the stringent qualifying requirements for this fellowship program. Ajasa Afees was among the 16 students chosen from around the world to attend the international meeting which was held virtually on March 2-4 as part of the Travel fellowship program this year. This setting provided each student with the opportunity to interact with world industry leaders and contribute to the solutions that will shape the advancement of the livestock industry into the future. The 2021 congress focused on the pandemic-induced changes in the Beef industry.
