Where should I go first?

If you are a first-year international student, please first visit the Coordinating Centre for International Education

to complete the paper-based registration and receive your Neptun code.

This code allows you to log in to the student records system (Neptun).

What should I do if I arrive late?

You may miss up to three classes per course during the semester.

If you cannot arrive by the end of Week 3 due to visa or travel issues, please contact both your administrator at the Coordinating Centre for International Education and your faculty administrator, Mariett Papp at papp.mariett@agr.unideb.hu.


I cannot select my student status or register for courses on Neptun. What should I do?

Course registration is only possible during specific registration periods.

You can find these dates in Neptun under Information → Periods.

Please note that you must first set your student status to “active” before you can register for courses.


I cannot find a mandatory course on Neptun that should be available this semester. Whom should I contact?

Please contact your Faculty Coordinator during the subject registration period: Mariett Papp at papp.mariett@agr.unideb.hu


I cannot find an exam course in the list of courses offered this term. Whom should I contact?

Please get in touch either with the course instructor or the administrative assistant of the department.

General Enquiries

 

I need a reference or recommendation letter (for MSc/PhD/job application). Whom should I contact?

Please contact directly the instructor or staff member from whom you wish to request the letter.


I have been sick and missed tests. What should I do?

Please inform your course instructors as soon as possible and present a medical certificate (sick note).

I would like to transfer courses from my previous studies. How can I check if they match the Faculty’s curriculum?

Please compare your previous course descriptions with those offered by our Faculty.

Course descriptions are available on the Faculty’s homepage under your specific training programme.


I wish to extend the expected end date of my studies on Neptun. Whom should I contact?

Please contact the Faculty’s International Office administrator: Mariett Papp at papp.mariett@agr.unideb.hu


Certificates and Documents

 

I would like to request a Certificate of Student Status or a Transcript of Records. Where should I go?

You can request these certificates either from the Coordinating Centre for International Education or from the Faculty’s International Office administrator: Mariett Papp at papp.mariett@agr.unideb.hu

Requests can be submitted in person or by email.

You may collect the document in person, authorize someone to collect it on your behalf, or request that it be scanned and sent by email.


I need a certificate for my internship (a letter confirming that internship is a mandatory part of my curriculum). Where can I request it?

You can request this document from Faculty’s International Office administrator: Mariett Papp at papp.mariett@agr.unideb.hu


I intend to change my training programme within the University or transfer to another higher education institution. What should I do?

You need to submit a written request to the Coordinating Centre for International Education.

If you wish to transfer to another university, you must also complete the form titled “Termination of Student Status.” 📄 Downloadable documents


I have questions regarding my tuition fees or scholarship (e.g. Stipendium Hungaricum). Whom should I contact?

Please contact the Coordinating Centre for International Education directly regarding all tuition fee or scholarship-related issues.


Practical Information for New Students

 

How can I get a student card?

You will receive information about applying for your student card after completing registration at the Coordinating Centre for International Education.


Where can I find my class schedule and classroom locations?

Class schedules are available in Neptun, and also on the faculty’s website, mek.unideb.hu/en or on the door of office 39, building A, Böszörményi campus.


Where can I get help with Neptun or other administrative issues?

You can contact your Faculty International Office administrator, Mariett Papp at papp.mariett@agr.unideb.hu   or visit the Coordinating Centre for International Education for assistance.


When do I receive my university email address?

Once your Neptun registration is complete, your EduID and university email account will be activated.

You can log in via portal.unideb.hu
